The SLMC
(Site for Language Management in Canada) is the result of
a dynamic partnership.
This project
has become reality thanks to financing provided by the Francophonie
Affairs Division of the Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade Canada and the Agence intergouvernementale
de la Francophonie.
We wish
to thank Treasury Board Secretariat, Canadian Heritage and
Justice Canada for their financial support, as well as the
Translation Bureau (Public Works and Government Services Canada)
which has agreed to act as the site operator.
Justice
Canada, Canadian Heritage and the Office de la langue française
have provided documentation regarding laws and regulations,
for which we heartily thank them. Thanks are also owed to
Geomatics Canada (Natural Resources Canada) for allowing us
to include their geolinguistic maps and demolinguistic tables
on this site and to link to the National Atlas of Canada.
